Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain two wood-fired boilers, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Monitor operational indicators, including water levels, pressure, temperature, and steam load.
• Transfer wood fuel from storage to the boiler to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning tubes and removing ashes weekly.
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions to ensure compliance with operational procedures.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
• Follow strict safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that includes:
  • Moving machinery
  • High-speed forklift traffic
  • Seasonal environmental conditions
