Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks in Georgia seeks an entry-level position to build and install component parts on heads and boilers in preparation for test firing. This role requires very limited decision-making and offers hands-on training.

You will mount gas train, oil piping, electrical components, and control panels, read prints, and wire components to meet safety standards. Expect lifting, long hours, and exposure to heat/noise in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
• Technical training as an industrial electrician preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) months as a Trainee or one (1) year of electrical and/or plumbing/piping experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble burner drawers and air compressors.
• Mount components on front heads and control panels, including wiring.
• Mount equipment on boilers: gas train, piping, air lines and test.
• Read prints and wire all applications in the head shop.
• Wire components from E-box to pressure control and pumps.
• Fit and hang doors for boilers and maintain safety standards.
• Follow plant safety rules and participate in other duties as assigned.
