Job summary

Chick-fil-A I-90 & Lacrosse in Rapid City is seeking a Back of House Team Member to prepare, cook, assemble, and present food to Chick-fil-A standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will work under an independent Operator/Owner, learn kitchen operations, and contribute to a positive guest experience while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and teamwork. Training provided, flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth are offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely and efficiently.
• Know assignments for all kitchen stations (fries, breading, assembling, boards, prep).
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed and keep area clean and organized.
• Stay updated on new products and changes from Chick-fil-A leadership.
• Complete opening/closing tasks and assist team members as needed.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Greet and serve guests when up front in the Chick-fil-A uniform
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
