Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

Data Analytics - Production & Industrial Engineering. Data Analytics interns support Production and Industrial Engineering by turning manufacturing data into actionable insight. Interns may develop dashboards, reports, data models, automated analyses, and performance metrics that help teams understand production flow, constraints, quality, schedule, labor, and process performance.

Potential internship assignments may include:

• Collect, clean, organize, and analyze manufacturing and operational data
• Build dashboards, visualizations, reports, and recurring metrics
• Automate data processes and improve reporting efficiency
• Partner with engineers and operations teams to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities

These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Wichita, KS.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Currently enrolled in a four‑year undergraduate or graduate degree program
• Ability to work full‑time during Summer 2027

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
• Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
• Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
• Majoring in one of the following: Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or other related fields
• The ability to relocate and work onsite
