Position Responsibilities:

Tooling Engineering.

Tooling Engineering interns support the design, development, implementation, and improvement of production tooling used to manufacture aerospace structures in Tulsa. Work may include assembly fixtures, drill/trim tooling, handling devices, work platforms, and tooling modifications. Interns collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to solve tooling issues and improve safety, accuracy, and production flow.

Potential internship assignments may include:

• Create or update tooling concepts, models, drawings, and specifications
• Support fabrication, installation, validation, and maintenance of tooling
• Investigate production tooling issues and develop corrective actions
• Improve tooling for ergonomics, quality, cost, and cycle time

These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Tulsa, OK.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Currently enrolled in a four‑year undergraduate or graduate ABET‑accredited engineering program
• Ability to work full‑time during Summer 2027

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
• Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
• Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
• Majoring in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other related fields
• The ability to relocate and work onsite
