Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

Facilities, Equipment & Reliability Engineering. Facilities, Equipment & Reliability Engineering interns support Tulsa’s buildings, utilities, infrastructure, and production equipment. Interns may analyze asset performance and failure data, support preventive and predictive maintenance, assist with equipment or facility modifications, and develop solutions that improve safety, availability, maintainability, and lifecycle cost.

Potential internship assignments may include:

  • Analyze equipment and facility reliability data and recurring failures
  • Support preventive/predictive maintenance and asset-management improvements
  • Assist with equipment and facility design, modifications, and installations
  • Coordinate technical work with maintenance, operations, contractors, and engineering teams

These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Tulsa, OK.

Employer will not sponsor applications for employment visa status.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate ABET-accredited engineering program
  • Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
  • Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
  • Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
  • Majoring in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, Civil Engineering, or other related fields
  • The ability to relocate and work onsite

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
