Job summary

North Florida Lincoln Company is seeking a skilled auto body technician to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility and growing family. We offer a competitive compensation plan, an upbeat work environment, and a strong commitment to career growth.

You will restore vehicles after collisions, work with insurance adjusters, plan repairs, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Must supply your own tools and have prior collision center / body shop experience.

Qualifications

• Must have own tools.
• Previous experience in a Collision Center / Body Shop is REQUIRED.
• Experience with body repair and insurance processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer needs are met with quality and efficiency.
• Provide outstanding customer service by offering fair estimates and clear communication.
• Restore a vehicle after a collision to its original and operational condition.
• Decide on repairing or replacing parts considering safety, cost and cycle time.
• Perform quality repairs in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with colleagues on vehicle repair status and with insurance adjusters.
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure customer needs are met with quality and efficiency
• Provide outstanding customer service experience by providing fair estimates, clear communication and building loyal clientele
• Responsible for restoring a vehicle back to its original and operational condition after a collision
• Make decisions on repairing or replacing pieces while taking into consideration safety, cost and cycle time.
• Perform quality repairs in timely manner
• Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status.
• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Work closely with insurance adjusters and appraisers
• Approve all adjustments on body and paint estimates
• Handle customer complaints and adjustment matters.
• Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect departmental operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
• Previous experience in a Collision Center / Body Shop is REQUIRED
• Previous experience and working knowledge of body repair and insurance processes
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be willing to submit to a background & drug screen prior to employment
