Job summary

Velocity Truck Group in Greensboro, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician to perform truck body restoration and paint services. The ideal candidate will excel in delivering high-quality workmanship, maintaining tools, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Duties

• Perform full body restoration and paint services for trucks involved in collisions.
• Conduct fiberglass repairs and other specialized tasks.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess damage and determine appropriate repair methods.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience as a body shop technician 2-5 years preferred
• Certified PPG Painter.
• Proficient in using a wide range of tools and equipment for truck assessment and repair.
• Excellent manual dexterity with the ability to work on small parts and in confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective customer service and communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check

Compensation

• up to $35 hourly depending on experience and qualifications
• Lucrative production bonus included
