Puklich Chevrolet is seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Body Shop Technician to join our team in Bismarck, North Dakota.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the automotive collision repair industry. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to learn. Previous body shop or automotive experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with vehicle repairs and shop operations
• Buff and polish repaired vehicles
• Perform accessory installations:
  • Running boards
  • Tonneau covers
  • Trailer hitches
  • Mud flaps
  • Other dealership accessories
• Assist with warranty‑related repairs and claims work
• Perform light body repairs and component replacements
• Replace bumpers and exterior trim components
• Assist with small dent repairs and minor cosmetic repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and dealership standards
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
• Previous automotive, body shop, or trade experience preferred but not required
• Ability to perform physical work and lift parts and equipment as needed

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• One‑hour lunch break
