Position Summary

The Body Shop Technician is responsible for performing high-quality collision repairs and refinishing work on vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The technician works closely with estimators, painters, and parts staff to ensure a seamless repair process that meets or exceeds OEM and insurance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete and accurate body repairs, including panel replacement, metal straightening, frame alignment, and structural repair.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for repair and refinishing.
• Ensure all repairs meet OEM specifications and quality standards.
• Perform welding, grinding, filling, sanding, and body panel alignment.
• Collaborate with estimators and painters to ensure timely and accurate repair completion.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work prior to paint and final delivery.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Keep detailed documentation of repair work and communicate effectively with the team.
