Ideal candidates will repaint exteriors, repair dents, work with fiberglass, and operate paint spraying and welding equipment while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in body repair and refinishing.
• Ability to repaint exteriors of vehicles.
• Knowledge of hand-tools and repair equipment.
• Comfort with operating paint spray equipment and welding tools.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Repaint exterior surfaces of vehicles.
• Perform dent repair and fiberglass work as needed.
• Operate and maintain paint spraying equipment and other tools.
• Coordinate tasks and maintain safety standards.
• Install glass and assist in refinishing as required.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Body Shop Technician to perform a range of body repairs and refinish assignments such as painting, fiberglass work, and dent repair. With increasing responsibility the Body Shop Tech must ensure all repairs are performed correctly and efficiently.

Duties and Requirements:

• Must be able to repaint damaged exterior of the vehicle
• Use various tools and supplies to assist in removing dents and dings
• Knowledge of hand-tools and computerized repair equipment is necessary
• Possess and maintain a full set of tools necessary to perform the tasks assigned
• Ability to physically perform the duties and to work in a variety of environmental conditions
• Required to frequently life/carry 25-50lbs
• Must be able to bend, climb ladders, crawl, squat, kneel, reach and twist consistently to accomplish tasks
• Must be able to bend, stoop or reach for extended periods
• Ability to use and maintain paint spraying equipment
• Ability to use welding equipment
• Ability to install glass
• Ability to organize and coordinate the work of the unit
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade
• Knowledge of the construction of the bus body
• Strict observance of all safety precautions and use of provided safety apparel
