Job summary

Cornhusker International Trucks, Inc. is seeking a Body Shop Painter in Omaha, NE to join the team on a full-time basis.

The role involves preparing surfaces, matching colors, and applying top coats to factory standards while maintaining safety in a busy body shop environment. The position offers an hourly rate ranging from $20.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience, with a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and an opportunity to participate in a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have own tools.
• Fiberglass experience a plus, not required.
• Body Shop certification or two-year associate degree preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team.
• Must pass drug test, physical and fit test.

Responsibilities

• Degrease and prepare vehicle surfaces for painting.
• Mix paints to match vehicle colors and apply top coat to factory standards.
• Follow all safety protocols in a body shop setting.
• Perform light to medium body repairs as needed.

Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $35.00 an hour DOE

Shift: Monday thru Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

The Body Shop Painter must exhibit the following skills & abilities:

• Ability to degrease and prepare vehicle’s surface before painting
• Ability to mix paints to match vehicle color
• Ability to apply top coat & paint vehicles to factory standards
• Ability to follow all safety protocols in a Body Shop setting
• Ability to perform light to medium body repairs

Qualifications:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
• Must have your own tools
• Experience working with fiberglass is a plus but not required
• Body Shop certification or two (2) two-year associate degree preferred
• Must be self-motivated and can work in a team-oriented environment
• Must be able to pass a drug test, physical & fit test
