Job summary

Baker Collision in Coopersville is seeking a Body Shop Assistant to support the collision team and keep the shop running smoothly. This is a full-time, hourly position with opportunities for growth within the industry.

You will perform pre- and post-repair detailing, maintain clean work areas and tools, track parts, and assist with general maintenance to meet customer satisfaction and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a body shop or automotive repair setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pre and post repair clean up/detailing of customer vehicles.
• Clean and maintain work area and tools.
• Receive and track parts as they enter the shop and dispatch accordingly.
• Remove trash recycling materials from shop daily.
• Help with general maintenance and upkeep of the body shop.

As a part of Baker Collision you will play an important role in supporting the team to meet customer satisfaction and quality standards.
