Job summary

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota North America is recruiting a Body Process Engineer for a 12-month contract in Princeton, Indiana. The role requires 1–2 years of automotive/engineering experience and CAD with Catia, Carrot 3, and AutoCAD. Travel to supplier sites and Toyota locations is expected.

The team will focus on process planning, equipment procurement, installation, and improvement initiatives to support model launches and plant competitiveness.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and shutdown periods.
• Ability to travel to support work at machine vendors and Toyota locations.
• Strong CAD skills with Catia, Carrot 3, and AutoCAD modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Process Planning; Machine Specification Creation; Machine/Equipment Procurement; Installation/Trial Management; Quality Analysis, Adjustment and Improvement.
• Project Management; Schedule Control; Budget Control/Cost Reduction; Manufacturing Support/Process Tracking.
• Lead equipment projects from concept to launch for new model, capital, refurbishments, and plant competitiveness projects.
• Assess impact of model changes on process equipment and systems to establish technical change requirements.
• Collaborate with Toyota groups including TMNA Production Engineering Project Leaders, NAMC Pilot team, Logistics, Maintenance, PEPD.
