Job summary

Dal-Tile, the nation’s leading tile and natural stone manufacturer, is hiring a Body Prep Operator to join our manufacturing team in Texas. You will unload/load raw materials, monitor flow through the body prep process and conduct quality checks to ensure product specifications.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and basic English communication skills. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a loud environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to understand and speak basic English

Responsibilities

• Unloads raw materials from railcar and transports to storage bins.
• Loads raw materials into hopper.
• Monitors flow of material through ball mill and into spray dryers.
• Performs tests to ensure body materials meet specifications and documents results.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.
