Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Body Prep Operator to join the MFG TEAM. The role involves unloading and loading raw materials, monitoring material flow, and performing quality checks on products.

You will follow procedures, report issues to supervision, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a production environment. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unloads raw materials from railcar and transports to storage bins.
• Loads raw materials into hopper.
• Monitors flow of material through ball mill and into spray dryers.
• Performs tests to ensure body materials meet specifications and documents results.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
