Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 1–2 years in a liability claims environment or related insurance field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze claim facts, medical records, and supporting documentation.
• Organizational skills to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Proficiency with computer systems and claims-related technology.
• Willingness to work additional hours, including nights, weekends, and travel.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel for business.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses.

Responsibilities

• Investigate liability claims involving bodily injury and property damage.
• Review coverage, evaluate liability exposure, and establish reserves.
• Gather and analyze claim documentation, medical records, and statements.
• Develop claim strategies and negotiate settlements within authority.
• Maintain documentation and manage claims toward timely resolution.
• Communicate with insureds and stakeholders throughout the process.
• Manage litigated files with defense counsel and discovery.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and communicate risks.
• Stay current on negligence laws and medical terminology.
