Job summary

Total Equipment Management Services in Twin Falls, ID is seeking a Diesel Equipment Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair diesel-powered construction and rental equipment, perform routine maintenance, and minimize downtime. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical issues, document work orders, use diagnostic tools, and work safely with a team that values quality and integrity.

Two to five years’ experience and related certification preferred; opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience servicing diesel-powered construction equipment or heavy machinery.
• An associate degree, technical diploma, or certification in Diesel Technology is preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with minimal supervision.
• Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine problems.
• Repair and replace components such as engines, fuel systems, hydraulic pumps, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, equipment inspections, and intake evaluations.
• Complete pre-delivery checks and verify equipment readiness for customer use.
• Record diagnostic findings, repairs, parts used, and labor hours in work orders.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service resources to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and communicate with customers and coworkers.
