Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Boat Captain in Homosassa, FL to direct ferry operations and ensure safe, compliant vessel handling. The Captain serves as the primary onboard liaison with the USCG, manages training and drills, and upholds high levels of customer service for passengers.

The role requires a valid USCG license and TWIC, ability to work in all weather, and bunker the vessel as needed. Prior dock/marina experience is preferred, with strong teamwork and safety focus throughout.

Responsibilities

  • Safe operation, cleaning, and general upkeep of a passenger vessel and boating areas.
  • Safe vessel tie up to docks, piers, ships and moorings;
  • Positive communication with client crew;
  • Passenger embarkation/debarkation safety and operation;
  • Assist in crowd control and admissions verification.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records;
  • Interacts with customers and management in a professional manner;
  • Dock hand work as well as supporting non-motorized waterfront operations.

This position serves as the primary contact onboard the vessel with the USCG concerning compliance with laws and regulations.
