Job summary

As part of the Lowe Boats team, candidates will assemble aluminum boats and sub-assemblies, at benches, on the shop floor or in boats, following blueprints and internal processes.

Qualifications

• Self-starter, team player with a good safety awareness.
• Requires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift.
• May be required to work in a non-air conditioned area.
• Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and shears to produce close fit between parts.
• Operates drill presses, punch presses, air tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
• Installs seats, bases, pedestals, consoles, cables, controls, graphics, etc.
• Responsible for following the quality systems procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
