Job summary

Broadcom, Inc. is seeking a Board Manufacturing Test Engineer to drive testing strategy and manufacturing excellence for high‑volume board production. The role collaborates with world‑wide product, firmware and hardware teams to develop and optimize functional test programs and coverage.

You will own test flow, participate in ECOs, support NPI, and lead failure analyses to improve yield and reduce costs, working with contract manufacturers to ensure quality and schedule targets are met.

• Drive manufacturing excellence and ensure the highest quality standards across Broadcom products.
• Become a Broadcom Test and manufacturing expert.
• Responsible for New Product Development for testing of board products.
• Manage Final Functional test activities at CM sites.
• Own product test coverage, test flow, and test limits from handoff after test development through mass production to End-of-Life.
• Coordinate between design/R&D, product engineering, manufacturing, and CM teams to support NPI.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), including test development, correlation, validation, and production ramp-up.
• Monitor NPI test yield, DPPM, and quality metrics; drive yield improvement and cost reduction initiatives in NPI prior to Production handoff.
• Lead failure analysis and root cause investigation for test escapes, yield loss, and customer returns.
• Support engineering change orders (ECO), test revisions, and product transfers.
• Ensure test hardware and processes meet reliability, cost, quality, and schedule target requirements.

The Test Engineer should have a solid foundation in PCIe Protocol and Products, Testing Strategy, influencing and impacting Broadcom’s business needs.
