Job summary

OTTO BOCK PATIENT CARE LLC in Murrells Inlet, SC seeks a Board Eligible Clinician to provide quality prosthetics and orthotics care, including designing devices and guiding fabrication and fitting processes.

The role requires 1–5 years in Orthotics/Prosthetics, strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, plus licensure where required and a valid driver's license to support patient care across clinics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Master's in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics.
• 1-5 years experience in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain state licensure where required.
• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases.
• Clear communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality prosthetics and professional services in relation to patient care.
• Formulate design of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Provide direction to technicians responsible for fabrication of prosthesis.
• Fabricate as needed to assure quality, fit, function and timely delivery.
• Perform fitting, including static and dynamic alignments.
• Evaluate device on patient, adjust for fit and efficacy, and perform outcome measures.
• Instruct patient in use of device and provide post-delivery service.
• Coordinate reimbursement information with administrative staff.
• Maintain patient charts and care records daily.
• Train Technicians, Residents, and Fitters as appropriate.
• Develop referral and client base and market services to physicians and therapists.
