Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree and Maryland licensure eligibility.
• Board-certification in small animal surgery or residency training.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.
• Manage complex referral and emergency surgical cases.
• Collaborate with the emergency team on patient care.
• Develop surgical plans using advanced diagnostics and imaging.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient management.
• Communicate treatment plans with pet owners and referring veterinarians.
• Mentor clinical staff and participate in rounds and CE.
• Help develop and refine surgical protocols and quality controls.
• Participate in clinical case reviews and continuing education initiatives.
