We are seeking a residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Surgeon to join a collaborative team of doctors in a high-level specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in Austin, Texas. The role offers access to advanced resources and a diverse, challenging caseload.

You will work with experienced emergency clinicians, specialists, and rehabilitation support, providing seamless surgical, medical, and post-operative care in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent is required.
• Active veterinary license in good standing required.
• Residency-trained or board-certified veterinary surgeon (DACVS or equivalent).
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams needed.
• Interest in a multi-specialty, emergency and referral environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced veterinary surgical procedures in a high-level specialty and emergency hospital.
• Collaborate with emergency physicians, specialists, and support staff for comprehensive patient care.
• Manage complex referral cases and in-house surgical needs.
• Engage in continuous mentorship and knowledge sharing within the team.
