PetVet Care Centers is seeking a Board Certified or Residency Trained Veterinary Dermatologist to join Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, Maryland. You will collaborate with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, delivering high-quality dermatology care and building lasting relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college; requires licensure.
• Completes a 3-year AVMA-approved residency.
• Current State Veterinary License; DEA registration.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team with hospital staff.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and educate on care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Perform pharmacy duties and follow controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
• Attend daily rounds and participate in practice management updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
