PetVet Care Centers seeks a compassionate Board Certified or Residency Trained Internist to join our team. You will collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and staff to deliver high-quality care and build lasting client relationships.

The ideal candidate has completed a 3-year AVMA-approved residency, holds a valid DVM/VMD, and maintains DEA registration. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for this role in our hospital network.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinarian with DVM or VMD degree.
• Completed a 3-year AVMA-approved residency.
• Current State Veterinary License in good standing.
• DEA registration and compliance.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills; excellent communication.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and educate on care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Prescribe medications following protocols; manage controlled substances.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager and Regional Manager on priorities.
