You will collaborate with experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, reporting to Hospital and Regional Managers.

The role emphasizes strong client communication, team collaboration, and commitment to outstanding patient outcomes in a busy specialty and emergency setting.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1-year rotational internship in small animal medicine, surgery, ER.
• Completed a 3-year AVMA approved residency program.
• Current State Veterinary License and DEA registration.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties including prescribing and controlled substances.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Coordinate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Evaluate protocols from intake to discharge.
• Attend daily rounds and participate in practice updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
