Job summary

Sleep & Attention Disorders Institute in Sterling Heights, MI seeks an experienced Board-Certified Sleep Medicine Physician to join an established specialty practice. The physician will provide comprehensive sleep medicine services to an existing patient population, collaborating with a Physician Assistant, Medical Assistant, and a seasoned support team.

The ideal candidate will practice evidence-based sleep medicine in a stable clinical environment, with minimal administrative duties,

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active or eligible for unrestricted Michigan medical licensure.
• Board Certified in Sleep Medicine.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility.
• Strong clinical judgment and evidence-based patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with sleep disorders.
• Provide ongoing clinical care for an established patient population.
• Interpret polysomnography (PSG), home sleep testing (HST), and other diagnostic studies.
• Develop and manage individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with the Physician Assistant, Medical Assistant, and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation.
• Follow clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and established practice protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as appropriate.
• Maintain professional relationships with referring physicians and healthcare partners.
