Job summary

Dane Street is expanding our physician panel and seeks a board-certified psychiatrist to join our team in Memphis, TN for Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs). If you are in or willing to travel to Memphis, this role offers flexible scheduling and the freedom to select assignments based on your availability.

As an independent contractor (1099), you will be compensated on a per-case basis with streamlined case flow and optional additional support services.

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist with IME experience preferred.
• Ability to perform in-person evaluations of work-related psychiatric issues.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• No doctor-patient relationship; advisory opinions only.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records thoroughly.
• Perform in-person evaluations of patients with work-related psychiatric issues.
• Respond to clinical queries to support claims management.
• Deliver detailed IME reports within 5 days.
