Job summary
CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group in Lexington, KY seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric physician to deliver comprehensive general family practice care. You will provide preventive services, manage chronic conditions, and support families with education and care plans.
The role emphasizes patient-centered medicine within a collaborative medical community and access to advanced technology, including EPIC, across locations.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics.
- Active Medical License in the State of Kentucky, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- DEA certificate.
- Completion of ACGME Residency in Pediatrics.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum pediatric care.
- Deliver wellness examinations, health screenings, and immunizations.
- Counsel patients on diet, lifestyle choices, and disease management.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
- Maintain accurate medical records using EPIC and provide patient education.
- Coordinate referrals and follow up on specialist consultations.
- Participate in quality improvement and policy development within primary care.
