Responsibilities include providing preventive and restorative dental care to infants, children, and adolescents, diagnosing oral diseases, administering anesthesia, and collaborating with colleagues while maintaining compliant records and engaging in community

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school.
• Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry Residency.
• Active and unrestricted Illinois state dental license.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and restorative dental care to infants, children, and adolescents, including patients with special healthcare needs.
• Diagnose and treat oral diseases, developmental conditions, and trauma specific to pediatric patients.
• Administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia in accordance with state regulations and MRHC protocols.
• Perform pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, space maintenance, extractions, and composite restorations.
• Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene, nutrition, growth and development, and preventive care.
• Work collaboratively with other dental providers, hygienists, medical providers, and administrative staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards, HIPAA, OSHA, and IDFPR requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach as needed.
• All other duties as assigned
