Job summary

77 consultants is seeking an Oncologist for a full-time, on-site role in Lafayette, Indiana. You will diagnose and treat cancer patients, collaborate with a dedicated team, and contribute to high-quality outcomes in a dynamic medical practice.

Schedule Monday–Friday 8a–5p with rotating call; outpatient with inpatient call; two infusion clinics; tumor boards involvement; EMR Cerner.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of residency in internal medicine and fellowship in oncology
• Board certification or eligibility in medical oncology
• Strong clinical knowledge and experience in cancer management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate patient care with a focus on quality outcomes
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostics for oncology patients
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Administer chemotherapy and other cancer therapies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses and treatment options
• Stay current with the latest advancements in oncology
• Participate in clinical trials and research as appropriate
