Job summary

Saint Luke's Cancer Institute in Kansas City seeks a board-certified gynecologic oncologist with 5+ years of clinical experience to lead the Gynecologic Oncology Program. The role includes expanding services across 10 hospital campuses, directing a team of Gyn-Oncologists, APPs, RNs, and residents, and coordinating multidisciplinary care with chemotherapy, radiation, and clinical trials.

The successful candidate will have a leadership track record and the opportunity for academic appointment

Qualifications

• Board-certified gynecologic oncologist with 5+ years of clinical experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience or formal leadership training preferred.
• Willingness to pursue academic appointment through UMKC commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand the Gynecologic Oncology service line across multiple campuses.
• Direct a collaborative team of 3 additional Gyn-Oncologists with support from APPs, RNs, MAs, nurse navigator and residents.
• Oversee comprehensive patient care including advanced surgeries (minimally invasive and robotic), chemotherapy, radiation therapy, survivorship, palliative care, and access to clinical trials.
