Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Board-certified Gastroenterologist (MD) licensed in Michigan to cover ongoing gastroenterology dates. The role requires 2 years of fellowship training with on-site daytime shifts, 9-hour blocks, and on-call duties including nights and weekends.

You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures, document all encounters, and coordinate with nursing staff for follow-up. Preferred procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, and sigmoidoscopy, with

Qualifications

• Board certification required
• Michigan license required
• Minimum 2 years fellowship training required
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Cover upcoming gastroenterology dates with on-site availability
• Work Monday to Friday with day shifts and 9-hour shifts (8 billable hours)
• Be on call overnight for 15 hours and participate in 24-hour weekend call
• Log all hours accurately for recordkeeping
• Perform charting without a dedicated scribe
• Communicate with nursing staff on patient follow-ups
• Be fully available for all scheduled dates
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures as needed
• Preferred procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry and sigmoidoscopy
• Facility features four procedure rooms with Olympus equipment
