Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Department of Radiology is recruiting a board-certified, fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join an interventional radiology program in the Jefferson Health Northeast community hospitals. This community-based, academic-supported opportunity is based in two hospitals located in northeast Philadelphia and Bucks County.
The Jefferson Northeast Interventional Radiology department is dynamic and growing with talented faculty and highly skilled technical and nursing staff who are eager to grow the practice in the community and provide patients with expert care close to home. The Jefferson Health Northeast campuses include a 300-bed level II trauma center in Northeast Philadelphia and a 112-bed community hospital in Bucks County.
We recently completed building an entirely new Interventional Radiology Department at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. This 6-year project spans 5,600 sq ft and includes; (1) CT/Angio Hybrid suite Canon Alphenix 4DCT, (1) Canon Sky Plus Angio suite, (1) Ultrasound procedure room, (3) Canon Ultrasounds, (6) prep and recovery bays, (1) consultation room, family waiting room, physician offices, and conference room all in one convenient location.
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic interventional radiologist interested in providing a broad scope of interventional radiology services and growing our premier community-based IR program within the Jefferson Health enterprise.

The position offers you the opportunity to utilize your diagnostic radiology skills reading imaging studies should you desire.Although there is no diagnostic reading requirement, interest in diagnostic imaging can be used to achieve incentives. IR only call frequency is 1:5.
