Role Overview

The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will assess, develop, implement, and document positive behavior treatment plans across various settings, with adjustments over time as skills develop. The goal is to enable the patient to communicate needs, participate in age-appropriate activities, and demonstrate behavior interventions aligned with best practices.

BCBA Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and guide programming, including training RBTs and BCaBAs, and creating/revising behavior plans.
  • Assist in developing resources and support information for patients and families.
  • Conduct assessments and develop behavior plans addressing caregiver and therapist concerns.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to therapy team members and caregivers.
  • Document daily treatment notes in the EMR system and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Make referrals for additional services as needed.
  • Provide direct 1:1 care for a portion of billing hours to model ABA strategies.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and supervisory requirements per state regulations.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and continuing education to maintain licensure.
  • Ensure compliance with certification requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
  • One year of BCBA experience preferred.
  • Current, unrestricted BCBA certification.
  • Active state license as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).
