Job summary

Benchmark Human Services in Kalispell, MT seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral supports to clients and supervise staff. You will contribute to plans and interventions that foster independence and community inclusion.

The role emphasizes comprehensive data collection, BSP development, and collaboration with the IDT to ensure quality, compliant services and a safe, supportive environment for clients.

Qualifications

• State certified as a BCBA or BCABA.
• Masters in ABA, Psychology, Social Work, or counselor licensure with related coursework.
• At least 2 years of experience providing behavioral supports to people with IDD.

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation of the behavioral services.
• Direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and staff training including behavioral supports and proactive strategies.
• Maintain system for collecting objective data regarding client skills and needs.
• Maintain system for collecting program specific information including key data points.
• Complete functional assessments annually and as needed.
• Develop BSPs that meet all standards and address each client's needs.
• Seek input and maintain effective communication with IDT and supervisor.
• Modify BSP annually and as needed.
• Attend agency, departmental and client meetings as directed.
• Attend client psychiatric appointments and discharge meetings.
• Conduct departmental training as directed.
• Maintain client confidentiality and report suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation.

Education

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work or Licensure as a counselor

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation of the behavioral services.
• Provide direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and staff training including behavioral supports, proactive strategies, triggers, staff interventions, replacement behaviors, etc.
• Maintain system for collecting objective data regarding the skills and needs of clients served.
• Maintain system for collecting program specific information including key data points.
• Complete functional assessments annually and as needed.
• Develop BSP's that meet all standards and address each client's needs.
• Seek input and maintain effective communication with IDT and supervisor.
• Modify BSP annually and as needed.
• Attend all agency, departmental and client specific meetings as directed.
• Attend client psychiatric appointments and inpatient psychiatric discharge meetings.
• Conduct departmental training as directed.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or department head.
• Must maintain good attendance throughout employment.
• Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
• State certified as a BCBA or BCABA or
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work or Licensure as a counselor and have coursework in human behavior, coursework and experience in developing behavioral treatment plans.
• At least 2 years of experience providing behavioral supports to people with intellectual disabilities.
