Role Overview: The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will assess, develop, implement, and document positive behavior treatment plans to be used across settings, reducing over time as skills develop. The goal of the treatment plan will be to equip the patient to communicate his/her needs, participate in age-appropriate activities, and have behavior interventions which reflect positive approaches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Function in a supervisory capacity, providing guidance to all areas of programming, including training of RBTs and BCaBAs, as well as creation and revision of behavior plans for patients.
  • Facilitate and assist in developing resources and support information for patients and their families.
  • Complete assessments and develop appropriate behavior plans addressing caregiver and therapist concerns.
  • Provide ongoing support and training of behavioral interventions to the therapy team and family/caregivers.
  • Maintain detailed daily treatment notes in EMR system and ensure daily billing of services.
  • Make appropriate referrals for additional patient services as needed.
  • Provide direct 1:1 care for a portion of billing hours to model ABA strategies.
  • Complete all required documentation and supervisory requirements per state regulations for RBT and BCaBAs.
  • Participate in therapy and company meetings as scheduled.
  • Complete continuing education to maintain licensure.
  • Comply with all certification requirements at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field
  • One year of experience as a BCBA preferred
  • Active and unrestricted certification as a BCBA
  • Current state license as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)
