Job summary

Sasco River Center is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing ABA program in Wilton, CT. You will conduct assessments, develop BIPs, provide direct ABA therapy, supervise RBTs, and collaborate with schools and families in clinic, home, and community settings.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Compensation: Up to $85,000 annually or competitive commission split

Employment Type: W-2 Employee, Full-Time, Exempt

Schedule: 40 hours per week (25 hours client-facing/supervision; 15 hours administrative/documentation)

Sasco River Center is a premier multidisciplinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional, evidence-based care for children, adolescents, and their families. Our collaborative team includes neuropsychologists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, executive function coaches, and behavior analysts working together to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment services.

We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and growth-oriented Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our expanding ABA department. The successful candidate will become the third BCBA on our clinical team and play an important role in continuing to build a high-quality behavioral program within a well-established multidisciplinary practice.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with families, schools, physicians, and other clinicians while providing exceptional ABA services across clinic, home, school, and community settings. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based ABA principles.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed to improve meaningful functional outcomes.
  • Provide direct ABA therapy, parent coaching, and consultation services across clinic, home, school, and community settings.
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring high treatment fidelity and adherence to best clinical practices.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other assessment-based evaluations as clinically indicated.
  • Provide consultation, staff training, and collaborative support to public and private schools throughout Fairfield County to enhance student outcomes and build educator capacity through evidence-based practices.
  • Participate in IEP and PPT meetings to collaborate with families and school teams in developing individualized, evidence-based supports that promote student success across educational settings.
  • Provide ongoing parent training to promote skill generalization across environments.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, physicians, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary intake evaluations and treatment planning meetings.
  • Analyze clinical data and adjust treatment plans based on objective progress monitoring.
  • Complete timely documentation, treatment plans, progress reports, and clinical records in accordance with BACB ethical standards and organizational policies.
  • Participate in individual and group supervision meetings, program development initiatives, and ongoing quality improvement efforts.
  • Remain current with emerging research and evidence-based ABA practices through continuing education and professional development.
  • Assist in expanding and enhancing Sasco River Center's growing ABA program.
  • Perform additional clinical or administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Expected Weekly Allocation:
  • Approximately 25 hours/week of direct clinical services, parent coaching, supervision, consultation, and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Approximately 15 hours/week dedicated to documentation, treatment planning, program development, team collaboration, and administrative responsibilities

Requirements
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Connecticut Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Completion of BACB-approved supervision training strongly preferred.
  • Experience designing and implementing ABA treatment programs for children and adolescents with developmental, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
  • Experience administering skill-based assessments such as: VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R & AFLS
  • Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Experience in parent coaching.
Preferred Qualification
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary pediatric settings.
  • Experience collaborating with schools and educational teams.
  • Experience providing consultation in school settings.
  • Strong understanding of Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBIs).
  • Experience with Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Positive Behavior Support (PBS), and other evidence-based ABA methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and data collection platforms for tracking client progress, analyzing outcomes, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ethical, family-centered, evidence-based care.
