Job summary

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in St. Louis, MO to deliver applied behavior analysis and therapy. The successful candidate will work with individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs, supervise RBTs and BCaBAs, and maintain accurate documentation and billing for services.

Qualifications

  • Master's in ABA, psychology, education, or a related field required.
  • Current BCBA license required.
  • At least 2 years of BCBA experience.
  • Experience supporting adults with autism, IDD, or related behavioral/mental health needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct behavior analysis services, implement treatment plans, and complete documentation.
  • Develop individualized behavior therapy goals aligned with support plans.
  • Conduct assessments, implement plans, and train staff/caregivers.
  • Monitor progress and prepare reports with service recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate session notes and billing for therapy and consultations.
  • Manage a caseload of at least 100 billable hours per month and schedule new clients.
  • Travel to client homes and other service locations for therapy and meetings.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality services.
  • Provide clinical supervision to RBTs, BCaBAs, and PLBAs and contribute to program development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

As a national leader in providing services to individuals with disabilities and mental illness, we're seeking dedicated leaders to join our St. Louis office as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BCBA is responsible for successfully conducting applied behavior analysis and therapy with individuals within Benchmark Human Services (BHS) or that have contracts with BHS to provide these services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct behavior analysis services, including implementing treatment plans, conducting FBAs, monitoring progress, updating goals, maintaining materials, and completing documentation.
  • Develop individualized behavior therapy goals aligned with each person's support plan.
  • Conduct behavior assessments, implement behavior plans, and provide required staff and caregiver training.
  • Monitor client progress and prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and discharge reports with service recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, session notes, and timely billing for therapy and consultation services.
  • Manage and maintain a caseload of at least 100 billable hours per month while scheduling new clients.
  • Travel to client homes and other service locations to provide therapy, consultations, and meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate with therapists, interdisciplinary teams, and community agencies to ensure consistent, high-quality services.
  • Provide clinical support and oversight to RBTs, BCaBAs, and PLBAs while participating in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), psychology, education, or a related field required.
  • Current BCBA license required.
  • Experience supporting adults with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and/or other behavioral or mental health needs.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a BCBA.
