Job summary

A leading behavior analysis provider in Oregon is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their team. The role includes designing individualized client programming, supervising behavior technicians, and consulting with families on children’s behavioral needs. You will work Monday to Friday, handle a small caseload, and receive comprehensive support from the Clinical Manager. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with children with special needs.
• Certified as a BCBA by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Ability to meet physical job demands.
• Proficient in Office 365 and ABA software platforms.
• Ability to meet physical demands and engage with children on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Design individual client programming based on ethical standards.
• Deliver direct supervision to BTs/RBTs managing a caseload of 4-6 clients.
• Consult with families regarding treatment and behavior modification.
• Observe staff and family meetings; conduct regular supervision.
• Consult with families on treatment concerns or staff issues.
• Receive support from Clinical Manager for scheduling and caseload admin.

Skills

Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Position Description

• Kaleidoscope ABA is looking to hire a Center-based BCBA. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing client programming that is ethical, appropriately individualized and implemented with integrity.
• BCBA will deliver direct supervision to their BTs/RBTs as well as manage and supervise a small caseload of 4-6 clients.
• Regularly review data collected in sessions with staff and family, interpret the results, and modify the individualized treatment plan accordingly.
• Provide supervision by observing and having team meetings with the staff and the families.
• Consult with the family regarding any concerns related to treatment, behavior modification or staff.
• BCBAs at Kaleidoscope ABA are provided the support of their Clinical Manager; assistance which includes administrative support, scheduling help and general assistance with the BCBA's caseload.

Location and Hours

BCBAs are in the Center Monday-Friday.

Required Experience and Education

• Certified as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs.
• Knowledge of appropriate behavioral intervention strategies, earning theories and instructional methods, ethics, laws, and regulations of acceptable behavior interventions.
• Proficient as Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ABA software platforms.
• Ability to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting as well as the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on their feet as well as an ability to lift children, to 50 lbs., on occasion. You may spend a significant amount of time crouching, crawling, and engaging with children on the floor or standing for long periods.
