Job summary

NeurAbilities Healthcare seeks a full-time BCBA or Licensed Behavior Specialist to conduct assessments, develop and monitor ABA-based intervention plans, and supervise RBTs and staff. The role supports home, school, and community settings and involves collaboration with parents and school personnel to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Strong functional understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
• Experience addressing maladaptive behaviors in home and school/community environments.
• Experience teaching functional communication and social skills.
• Ability to train, support, and collaborate with clinical staff and ABA Behavior Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial, ongoing, and follow-up behavioral and skills assessments, including FBAs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans and ABA therapy programs.
• Analyze data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make program modifications as needed.
• Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and/or BHT-ABA staff in accordance with applicable supervision standards.
• Provide consultation, training, and clinical support to parents, school personnel, and therapeutic support staff.
• Write comprehensive assessment reports, treatment plans, crisis plans, clinical updates, and authorization documentation.
• Participate in psychological evaluations, school-based consultation, and program development as assigned.
• Conduct community-based training and outreach programs as needed.
• Complete onboarding and ongoing professional training and maintain credentialing requirements.

What You Will Do As a BCBA, BSC/LBS:

• Conduct initial, ongoing, and follow-up behavioral and skills assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans and ABA therapy programs to ensure fidelity and intervention effectiveness
• Analyze data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make program modifications as needed
• Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and/or BHT-ABA staff in accordance with applicable supervision standards. Supervision and documentation requirements will align with credentialing standards applicable to the clinician’s licensure or certification.
• Provide consultation, training, and clinical support to parents, school personnel, and therapeutic support staff
• Write comprehensive assessment reports, treatment plans, crisis plans, clinical updates, and authorization documentation in compliance with insurance, organizational, and regulatory standards
• Participate in psychological evaluations, school-based consultation, and program development as assigned
• Conduct community-based training and outreach programs as needed
• Complete required onboarding and ongoing professional training and maintain compliance with credentialing and organizational requirements

What you will bring to the team as a Licensed Behavior Specialist or BCBA:

Required For All Candidates:

• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
• Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Strong functional understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Experience addressing maladaptive behaviors in home and school/community environments
• Experience teaching functional communication and social skills
• Ability to train, support, and collaborate with clinical staff and ABA Behavior Technicians

Credential-specific Requirements (one Of The Following):

• Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS): Active Behavior Specialist Licensure &Minimum of 2 years post-master's clinical experience
• Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA/BCBA-D): Active BCBA or BCBA-D certification through the BACB,Minimum of 1 year professional experience as a BCBA, Ability to maintain CEUs and active certification in good standing,Experience with standardized assessments such as ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland, QABF, MAS, FAST, and Functional Behavior Assessments.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

• Estimated 50% travel, dependent on need. Travel is local and between the hours of 7am and 7pm, depending upon the assigned caseload.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform tasks which include prolonged periods of walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and stooping.
