Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Suffolk County, NY is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead assessments, design behavior plans, and supervise our team of therapists. You will work closely with caregivers to create meaningful, measurable goals and ensure programs are implemented with fidelity.

Travel to assigned cases is required; you will analyze data to drive data-driven program changes, review notes, and communicate progress with families and the Achieve Beyond office.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis and BCBA certification are required.
• Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential is required.
• Passion for ABA with experience supervising therapists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for children with ASD and collaborate with families to set goals.
• Design behavior intervention plans and observable treatment targets.
• Create measurable goals for therapists and caregivers to implement.
• Provide direct supervision of therapists and deliver performance feedback.
• Review session notes and ensure clinical integrity of programs.
• Analyze data and adjust programs based on results.
• Ensure progress is generalized and families actively participate in therapy.
• Perform reassessments at least biannually and report progress.

Now Hiring: Fee For Service, Hourly and/or Full Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

LOCATION: Positions available throughout SuffolkCounty

Jobresponsibilities

• Conduct assessments for children diagnosed with ASD and work with caregivers to create meaningful goals and treatment plans
• Design behavior intervention plans
• Create functional specific, observable, and measurable goals for behavior therapists and caregivers to implement.
• Provide at least 10% direct supervision of behavioral therapists assigned to cases, incorporating behavioral skills training and specific performance feedback while ensuring clinical integrity of the programs.
• Clinically review session notes on a regular basis for assigned behavior therapists
• Analyze data and implement data-driven program changes
• Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in therapy through specific goals, training sessions, and communication.
• Conduct reassessments at least twice per year while summarizing data and progress for each client supervised
• Regular communication with parents, behavioral therapists, and the Achieve Beyond office is required
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations).
• Ensure that all programs are socially significant, functional, and lead to independence and happiness!(services, programs, schedule, staff, etc.)

Requirements

Must have a passion for ABA and working with children, families, and therapists!

• Master's Degree in (Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services, Psychology).
• BCBA and LBA REQUIRED
• Minimum of one year of ABA client/teacher field supervision
• Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to climb and descend staircases
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods
