Job summary

Adapt For Life is hiring BCBA-level clinicians to deliver ABA therapy across clinics in North Carolina. The role involves developing comprehensive behavioral assessments, supervising clinical staff, and coordinating case management for a caseload of eight learners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education / special education, or a related field.
• BCBA Certification required or waiting to take BACB examination within 30 days.
• Current / ability to obtain Behavior Analyst Licensure (if state requires).
• At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavior disorders.
• Experience with behavioral assessment and treatment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with children on the autism spectrum.
• Possess a Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive behavioral assessments and treatment programs for children and families.
• Manage coordination of case management activities.
• Oversee a caseload of 8 clients or up to 300 weekly RBT hours, with billing 29 hours per week.
• Provide training to parents and caregivers to implement treatment programs.
• Provide clinical supervision and training of clinical staff.
• Develop and implement clinic/home/community-based assessment and treatment programs.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Provide consultative services to parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Provide staff training as needed.
• Coordinate home and school communication regarding treatment programs.
• Organize and lead treatment team meetings.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation and paperwork.

Clinical Services

Consultation Services

1. Responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive behavioral assessment and behavioral treatment programs primarily in clinic, but possibly home and community as well.

2. Conduct functional behavior assessments

3. Provide consultative services to parents, teachers, and other clinical/educational personnel

4. Provide staff training as needed

5. Responsible for coordination of home and school communication regarding treatment program

6. Organize, facilitate and lead treatment team meetings

Administrative

1. Effective and timely documentation skills

2. Timely completion all paperwork and phone contacts to caregivers, funding sources, outside agencies and schools (as appropriate) regarding treatment and development of treatment plans, goals, and objectives

Professional Conduct

1. Establish effective clinical and ethical relationships with clients and families, and maintain appropriate boundaries

2. Establish and maintain professional and ethical working relationships with staff and in collaborations with funding sources, community agencies, schools, medical practices, and other therapy providers
