Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA/BCaBA/BCBA-D) for a 1.0 FTE position at Lenape, Tamanend, and Tohickon Middle Schools. The role focuses on behavioral support within the school setting.

The ideal candidate will conduct functional behavioral assessments, design and implement behavior intervention plans, develop data collection tools, and provide staff development on positive behavioral outcomes for students with special needs.

Qualifications

• BCBA/BCaBA/BCBA-D license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or Psychology Related Human Services field required.
• Certification in teaching or school psychology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage Functional Behavioral Assessments, including observations, behavioral data and interview.
• Create and implement behavior intervention plans.
• Design data collection instruments and procedures.
• Provide staff development on student plans, behavior management strategies, general training on positive behavioral outcomes for professional and support staff.

COMPENSATION: In accordance with the CBEA contract

DESCRIPTION:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Not an all-inclusive list):

• Conduct and manage Functional Behavioral Assessments, including observations, behavioral data and interview.
• Create and/or assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans.
• Design data collection instruments and implement data collection procedures.
• Provide staff development for individual student plans, behavior management strategies, general training on positive behavioral outcomes for professional and support staff.
• All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCaBA, BCBA, or BCBA-D) license required. Bachelor's degree in Education or Psychology Related Human Services field required. Certification in teaching or school psychology preferred.

Knowledge and experience related to behavior shaping, data collection procedures, development of behavioral techniques and methodology utilized with special needs students required.
