Job summary

Hope Network Center for Autism in East Lansing, MI, is seeking a BCaBA to provide evidence-based ABA services to children and adolescents with ASD under BCBA supervision.

You will collect and analyze data, develop and implement treatment plans, coach Behavior Technicians, and collaborate with families and clinical staff to promote communication, social, behavioral, and life skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education or related field.
  • Current BCaBA certification through BACB.
  • Michigan LABA license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Experience with ASD or developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under BCBA supervision.

Responsibilities

The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) provides evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder at Hope Network’s Center for Autism.

Working under the supervision of a BCBA, you’ll support individualized treatment programming, analyze learner progress, coach and support Behavior Technicians, and collaborate with families and clinical team members to help learners build communication, social, behavioral, and life skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the development and implementation of individualized ABA treatment programs and behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Collect, analyze, and monitor learner data to evaluate progress and support treatment decisions.
  • Assist with behavioral assessments and clinical programming.

  • Maintain compliance with BACB ethical standards, Michigan licensure requirements, HIPAA, and Hope Network policies.
  • Maintain required BCaBA certification, licensure, and training.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and supportive environment for learners, families, and team members.

What You Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Current BCaBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Current Michigan Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) credential or eligibility to obtain Michigan licensure.
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of a BCBA.

Preferred

  • Experience providing ABA services in a center-based environment.
  • Experience with behavior assessments and tools such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, PEAK, Vineland, AFLS, or Essential for Living.
  • Experience supporting or training Behavior Technicians.
  • Experience with parent training or family support.
  • Experience with electronic health records or ABA-related software.
  • Individuals actively pursuing their BCBA certification.
