Job summary

Dreyer and Reinbold BMW South in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a BMW Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer and dealership vehicles, leveraging BMW diagnostic technologies and training programs.

You will perform repairs across engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, ensuring quality and efficiency while documenting all service work and maintaining tools and workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and computing skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing (background/MVR).

Responsibilities

• Receiving and carrying-out Repair Orders as dispatched.
• Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
• Providing labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services.
• Repairing engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and AC per Center and Factory standards.
• Performing quality checks to ensure repairs are complete.
• Completing paperwork and documentation for repair services.
• Maintaining organized workspace and tools.
• Communicating with Service Advisors and Parts Department.
• Participating in BMW training programs.
• Demonstrating professional behavior aligned with company values.
