Job summary

BMW of San Francisco is seeking a skilled Mainline Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain BMW vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards. You will perform mechanical, electrical, drivetrain repairs, and use BMW diagnostic equipment, communicating findings to service advisors.

Qualifications

2+ years automotive technician experience.
BMW experience preferred; strong diagnostic/repair with other brands acceptable.
Technical competency and troubleshooting abilities.

Commitment to customer satisfaction.
Valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain BMW vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, drivetrain, and diagnostic repairs.
Use BMW diagnostic equipment and repair procedures to resolve vehicle concerns.
Complete repair orders while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Communicate findings and repair recommendations with service advisors and management.
Stay current on BMW technologies, repair procedures, and manufacturer training.
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
