Job summary

International Autos Group in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an automotive technician for our air-conditioned shop. You will perform repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring quality work and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical aptitude for vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and team player.
• Computer literate and able to use diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver’s license and own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on the repair order efficiently per dealership policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools; test drive vehicles.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about needed additional services.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete required administrative duties when necessary.
• Assist in other areas of the shop as needed.
• Follow directions from Service Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Complete online multi-point inspection report
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Perform required administrative duties when necessary
• Assist in other areas of the vehicle maintenance shop as needed
• Other duties as assigned by Service Manager
