Role Overview:

The BMV Field Auditor performs discovery audits to ensure records are accurate and valid and have adequate financial controls. You will prepare reports and recommendations for irregularies, discrepancies, and risks.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are:

  • Audit financial records and accounts for arithmetic accuracy, documents validity and adequacy of financial controls.
  • Prepare reports of audit findings for review by supervisor.
  • Assist in the development of recommendations for the improvement of accounting methods and procedures.
  • Conduct routine inventory audits.

What You'll Need for Success:

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
